Dr. Makhija does not bill your health insurance.

1. SELF-SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS: For new patients or non-members, a non-refundable $50.00 deposit is required to schedule a consultation which will be counted towards the consultation fee of $450.00. Payment link
2. Both, in-person and telemedicine appointments are available. Our in-person locations are Fresno (main office) and Lafayette (once a month), California.

PLEASE NOTE: For “Patient Payment” fill in your Last name, First name, Amount, and Email id. The invoice number can be blank.
PLEASE NOTE: Our office does not file insurance claims of any type. Our fees are affordable without using insurance, and you never have to worry about our services if your insurance plan changes at the beginning of each year. We offer these reduced fees while providing excellent service and top-quality medical care. We do not sign contracts with insurance companies or managed care plans that force us to have their interests ahead of our patients. You are our highest priority, not an insurance company or a governmental agency. Your health information never leaves our office without your expressed request to do so (unless requested by legal authorities)

Telemedicine
Video or Phone - you decide. Telemedicine consultation, follow-ups, or quick touch points. Available to residents in the state of California.
Physician Referrals
If you are a medical provider and seeking endocrine expertise or a second opinion, you can call or email us, and we will be more than happy to assist.
Second Opinion
If you are the patient and would like us to review your history, prior testing, laboratory results and share our expert advice, you can call or schedule a consultation. No referral required.
We do not bill health insurance. Dr. Makhija is an out-of-network provider. Payment is due at the time of the visit. Patients will receive an invoice to submit to their insurance for out of network reimbursement.
